Goose Island will release Ten Hills Pale Ale on December 2, the first of three new limited run beers the brewery will release in the coming year. The hops for the beer were harvested at Idaho’s Elk Mountain Farms, a farm that has been harvesting hops exclusively for Goose Island. Like the famous hop farms in Europe, Elk Mountain Farms sits on the 49th parallel, which features an ideal climate for growing hops. The beer will distributed nationwide in six-and 12-packs of bottles and also on draught through March 2014. >>

Brewer’s Notes:

Ten Hills traces its story to Elk Mountain Farms in Idaho, famous for growing hops of exceptional quality  and character. With hops from the “first ten hills” grown for Goose Island at Elk Mountain, we crafted a pale ale that delivers both a herbal and citrus hop character. We hope you’ll find the intriguing balance of flavors in this beer to be truly unparalleled.
